Executive Assistant

This is an exciting opportunity to combine your passion for the Arts with your high level secretarial and administration skills to work with the team that delivers New Zealand’s premiere arts event.  The Executive Assistant will work closely with the Executive Director and Artistic Director to provide support for the New Zealand International Arts Festival, Lexus Song Quest and Wellington Jazz Festival.

This will include secretarial services, research, managing travel requirements and diaries, assisting with funding applications, managing VIP invitations, protocols and functions, office management and reception duties.

You will demonstrate strong interpersonal and customer service skills with excellent written and oral communication, and a willingness to assist with any task required.  The ability to carry out responsibilities independently and advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications is essential.

Based in Wellington, this position would suit someone who has experience in a similar role, and who enjoys working in a creative, high pressure environment as part of a small, flexible team.
